UK-USA Ministries

Watch this interview to hear Mike Taylor, founder of UK-USA Ministries, explain in detail about what they do, why they do it, and what they hope to accomplish.

Over the past 10 years, the UK-USA partnership has blossomed and the organization has seen hundreds of USA students engaged in local ministry in the UK. Through the mandatory Religious Education classes offered in every public school in the UK, they have utilized USA students sharing their testimonies and RE lessons on short-term trips. While this partnership has been effective and they have seen benefits on both sides of the pond, it has become increasingly obvious that the most effective form of evangelism in a “Post-Christian England” is long-term relational ministry.

We are so excited to join the UK-USA team in England! Our hearts are pounding to get plugged in and to start serving in Stockton for the next two years of our lives!

For His Glory,

Brian and Morgan Morris

Brian & Morgan Morris

Morgan and Brian were introduced while hundreds of miles apart—Brian was finishing his college education in Mississippi and Morgan was studying in Missouri.  The two met for the first time in person on May 19, 2013 in Tulsa, Oklahoma after a month of long distance courting.

The couple would Skype for several hours a day, sharing their hearts on just about everything: hopes, dreams, desires, and fears. They discussed their strengths, weaknesses, likes, dislikes and anything in between—most of all though, Brian and Morgan spoke of their mutual love and passion for Jesus. All of their conversations— no matter how brief or lengthy, casual, serious or silly —would without fail, lead to the praise and worship of the one true God.

Beyond their compatibility, both young people were deeply devoted to their Savior and pursued the heart of God above all else. Brian and Morgan fell in love with the reflection of Christ that they saw in each other.

Brian says that when he saw Morgan, he knew she’d have his heart for the rest of his life. After six months of dating and a lot of prayer, Brian knew in his spirit that God agreed; Morgan was the woman he was to marry.

In January 2013, the couple, along with Brian’s parents, toured Israel. Brian decided there was no better place to propose than the spot where Jesus proposed to His bride (the Church), in the Garden of Gethsemane.

One year and ten days after meeting, Brian and Morgan were wed on May 29, 2014 in Marco Island, Florida.

The Morris’ spend each day thanking God for the gift of each other and for the gift of His extraordinary grace.

The newlyweds will reside in Stockton-On-Tees in the Northeast of England with their German Shepherd, Elvis.
